Dancing Princess

 

My niece Melissa is the only princess in the family.  My parents have all grandsons….and her.  She does, however, have Down’s Syndrome.  My sister has done the best to try to help Melissa have a normal childhood; helped her get good teachers, put her in dance…….but, Melissa is finally getting big enough that she won’t be able to do the dancing anymore with the studio Kenna has

 

had her at.  Scott, Gavin and I were able to go to Melissa’s final performance and although her part was very brief (too brief in my mind), she did a great job!  We are proud of the princess!
